What’s in this video
This short tour takes you inside Bowman Africa Equipment Suppliers, a family-owned supplier of cranes and material handling equipment based in Gauteng and serving South Africa and the wider African continent.
It opens with an aerial view of our fleet outside the Bowman Africa workshop, then moves through our truck-mounted crane assembly, an assembled crane in operation, and our quality and safety routine including truck inspections and a full crane load test, with the Bowman Africa team at work.
From there it walks through our crane product range, including a Bowman crane performing a lift. It then moves through our facilities: the parts division, the main office entrance and reception, our sales and technical support teams, after-sales support, and the boardroom, closing on the Bowman Africa logo and contact details.

Bowman Africa Equipment Suppliers (Pty) Ltd is a full hydraulic equipment supply and consulting company, well into its second generation of family ownership, with founder John Keenan Bowman Senior still active in day-to-day operations.
Our expertise spans every aspect of truck-mounted materials handling, scrap processing and recycling equipment, from initial consulting through to final delivery anywhere on the African continent. Over five decades we’ve built strategic partnerships with global manufacturers and hold their exclusive agencies throughout Africa.
